Sequence memory test
Squares in a grid light up one at a time. When they stop, tap them in the same order. It starts at 3 and grows by one every time you get it right; two misses and the game ends. Your score is the longest sequence you repeated. Everyone gets the same sequences each day.
Questions
How do I remember a longer sequence?
Give the squares names, like the numbers on a phone keypad (1 to 9, top left to bottom right) or positions ("top left, middle, bottom right"), and say them as they light up. Words are easier to hold than a pattern of flashes.
What if a square lights up twice?
Tap it twice, in its places in the order. A square never lights twice in a row, so each flash is a new step.
Is it the same for everyone?
Yes. Your first game each day uses the day’s sequences, the same for everyone, and that is the score you share. Games after that are practice and don’t change it.
