Questions, a question with the wrong answer, a picture that's hard to read, or an idea: email [email protected].
Email [email protected]How does practice work?
Pick a deck. You get a picture to study for a set time (10 seconds for a quick look, a minute for the long look), then questions about it from memory, then the picture again with what you missed ringed. A session is a few pictures and takes a couple of minutes.
Each deck covers a few kinds of detail, such as clothing, counts or number plates. The first time a kind comes up you get a tip on what to look for. After that, each kind you get right comes back later and later (2 days, 4, 8, 16, 32); a kind you miss comes back the next day, so practice goes where you need it.
How do battles work?
Sign in, choose a picture (a street, a room, a car park or faces), how long to look and how many questions, and press "New picture" until you get one you like. Then send the link. Each friend who opens it signs in with Google and gets exactly the same picture and questions, once. The leaderboard ranks everyone by how many they got right, and on a tie by who was quicker. Other players see only your first name and your Google profile picture.
Is it always the same pictures?
No. Every picture is drawn fresh in your browser, with different people, clothes, vehicles, number plates, shops and times, so there's no picture to learn by heart, only the habit of looking.
The text in the picture is too small
Turn your phone sideways, or use a larger screen: the picture fills the width. If something is still hard to read, please email [email protected] and tell us which detail.
Will this improve my memory?
We make no promises about memory or the brain in general. What practice does is build specific habits: looking by category, putting what you see into words, reading numbers in chunks. Our guide explains them.
Where is my progress saved?
Without signing in, your progress belongs to a random ID kept in this browser. Clearing your browser's site data, using a private window, or switching device starts you from scratch.
Sign in with Google on the home page to keep it on your account instead. Signing in is also what opens the long look; the other decks and the tests don't need it. Whatever you practised before signing in comes with you. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what is kept.
How do I delete my account?
Email [email protected] from the address you signed in with, and we'll delete your account and its practice history.
Does it cost anything?
No. Clue Catch is free to use.
